This Privacy Policy explains how Tempered Builds ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit https://temperedbuilds.com or submit a quote request form. By using our site or submitting a request, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email address (if provided), ZIP code, service category, home details (size, style, timeline), and any notes you include with your quote request.
- Automatically collected: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamp). We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
How we use your information
Quote-request information is used to connect you with a pre-screened licensed roofing or gutter contractor in our network. We share your contact details and project description with one partner contractor serving your area. The contractor will use your information to contact you about your project.
We may also use your contact information to follow up on your inquiry, request feedback after the contractor visits, or send you occasional updates about LA roofing topics. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share information with
- Our partner contractor: all quote-request details, so they can contact you about your project.
- Service providers: hosting, email delivery, and SMS providers that operate the site and route messages on our behalf. They are contractually bound to use your data only to provide their service.
- Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are retained for up to 24 months for follow-up and service-quality purposes. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us via the contact page.

This site uses minimal cookies (session cookies for form state). We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Children's privacy
This site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
